Planning out your day, week, month, year can make you feel much better about whats to come! Let’s set up that calendar! Why?
Personally, for me it helps me get a peace of mind knowing what needs to be done and what goals I’ve set to achieve. I have several goals for this year such as spending more time with friends and doing some home renovations! You get this feeling of accomplishment when you set things up. I have to do a good bit of travel to spend time with some friends so having a schedule helps me plan around what most important.

Using color code for the calendar will help show what’s planned for the next week, or month, quickly without taking up too much space. I got these stencils on amazon link will be below. Furthermore, stickers are great to make it look nice and not so cluttered. My handwriting is not the best, so it helps with it being legible as well. Here is a nice little snippet of how I set up my month/week!

The calendar itself is from dollar tree! Easy, cute, and can be hung with a small peel and stick wall hook. The pens I use are marker pens for a more vibrant and easy writing on the weird calendar paper.
Small excursus time about calendars
Why are calendars made from such weird paper that most regular gel pens don’t work well on?! Fun fact it’s usually a glossy finish. Which is pretty to look at for the photos that are printed on it but why are both sides glossy? They know we want to write on this with our favorite gel pens. I guess it is also thicker and more durable so that’s another upside to the glossy paper.
Any ways, that’s enough of a tangent for now, stay tuned for more! I have several projects I’m working on in the background and will be sharing with you all. I will try to keep you all updated with each and let you know when to expect what’s coming next and final finishes. For videos and tutorials visit my Instagram at this link.
