ANIMAL CROSSING

Animal Crossing is a go to cozy game for me. While I will forever be in debt to tom nook, it’s still one of my favorite games to play.

What do you do in Animal Crossing?

Well for starters you live on an island, and you can customize this island completely to however you want it to look and flow. I am a collector in any game I play, so with the many different fruit trees, bugs, and sea creatures to unlock it keep me busy for hours. Animal crossing is also linked up to real time wherever you are! This makes playing the game year-round so much fun and worth it with new things appearing all the time.

There isn’t a crazy amount of story to follow in this game I won’t be going into the story here. You came here because you want to know what exactly you can do in Animal Crossing!

From the get-go you are put into debt, well how do you pay off that debt? You sell to the nook brothers! Okay… what do you sell to them? Pretty much anything you can find or craft in game. If you’re looking to make more money off of them, consider selling in bulk and really focusing on HOT items. They change all the time, so be sure to check it!

Your island will have trees filled with fruits for you to shake down and chop down because there’s a lot of trees everywhere! You’ll need the wood from these trees as well as stone from rocks lying around to build and upgrade your house and other items around your island. With time you will unlock all the tools needed to go about doing whatever task you want! You will also unlock the ability to build bridges, pathways, stairs, and even the ability to alter the islands soil and water.

Here’s the Cozy Part!

You are not on a time constraint for most tasks that you will have to complete around the island, and you do not have a time limit on paying off your loans, however, if you have too many loans open at once you may have to pay one off before you can get a loan out for something else. Speaking of loans, can we talk about getting into that chair to talk to tom? Why is it so hard to do? I just want to see what tasks I need to do and what tasks I can start. Anyway, the no rush atmosphere of the game really helps relax me and I enjoy doing things my own way on my own time frame.

What is there to collect in animal crossing? IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED!!!

BUGS?! In Animal Crossing?!

Yes, there are bugs in Animal Crossing. There are a few bugs that can hurt you, so be careful and be quick with your net!!Clearly this is my favorite part of any game. I am a hoarder of items, and I love when a game is set up to give you a vast selection of things to collect! I have a very large collection of bugs, fun fact I am missing just one butterfly, the monarch, the most common one and I somehow don’t have it, infuriating right? In total there are 80 bugs to collect, I have about 60 at the moment. I have an entire stack of bugs in a corner of my island because when you place them outside of your inventory they automatically go into their own little crate. Yes, the photo above is my hoard of bugs haha! I mainly have this because there is a bug traveler who will come to your island and I’m waiting to unlock the area in the museum to display all of them.

SEA LIFE

Another thing you can collect is the sea life! They have everything from fish to sharks to hermit crabs, turtles and even tadpoles and frogs. How many fish are in animal crossing you ask? 80! So, in total that’s already 160 items to collect! you can also display these in the museum! I have about 50 of the fish unlocked right now and no I do not have a random corner full of fish, yet..

Decorations

Did I mention decorations earlier? If I didn’t, there’s a lot of decorative items and you can place them anywhere on your island! Personally, I have a park, and a cute sitting area and stage set up around my island. I also have a ton of cute items in and around my house! There are over 600 decorative items! Thats furniture, paintings, sculptures, and even designs, you can also create your own designs! You can gift any item to other members of your island!

Thats all for this part of my Animal Crossing love, come back for part 2! Thanks!!
